Father Iversen is on a mission: to save his parish. And he has a plan. A spectacular Passion play should convince the archbishop, who loves the theater, to keep the parish open. This plan is complicated by the play’s director, Roberto, who has been blacklisted by the Berlin theater community, and Mia, a butcher who’s returned to the village after absconding to the big city.
