A mother of five dies in the care of an old married couple and their daughter. The old woman’s children come to the province for the burial, even the eldest, who works in Saudi Arabia. They choose to stay for the Pa-siyam, or the nine days of praying the novena for the soul of the departed. But then strange things begin to happen...
