Nadya and Pasha are a married couple on the brink of divorce. They meet after months of separation to celebrate New Year's with their son, but he announces he can't come. Their celebration is tense, silent, and misunderstood, until a young neighboring couple, strangely similar to them, appears on their doorstep, seeking shelter and companionship.
