The life and times of Josef Stalin, chronicling his rise to power and the terror that he caused, with emphasis on the collectivisation and the great purges. We see how, through propaganda, he became a god-like figure to Russia, when in reality he was a tyrant. Using archive footage and first-eye interviews, we are told the story of Stalin, the myth.
